Hydra Fast Cycling System

The aquarium begins with the nitrogen cycle under control.

Choose Fast Cycling if you are setting up a new aquarium and want to develop and validate the biofilter before introducing fauna.

the system uses Catalyst One + Catalyst Two together to provide a controlled load to the cycling process and allow confirming when the filter can process it.

How to use — Reference for 100 L

add daily 5 ml Catalyst One + 5 ml Catalyst Two.

Do not introduce fauna during this phase. Avoid water changes while you are running the protocol, unless you need it.

How do you know it's over?

Tests ammonia and nitrite. The system is functional when it manages to take both to undetectable values after the expected load, within the evaluation period defined by the protocol.

Don't just use the number of days as a criterion: Always confirm through tests.
