Hydra Roots

Nutrition where some plants need it most: in the substrate.

Choose Hydra Roots if you have strong root feed plants or an inert/exhausted substrate.

Tabs gradually release nutrients together with the roots, complementing the fertilization of the water column.

• TENS Cryptocoryne, Echinodorus, Vallisneria or other plants with a strong root system
• use inert substrate
• The nutrient substrate has already lost strength over time
• want to reinforce specific areas without dismantling the aquarium

when it is not necessary

Not all aquariums need tabs. If your plants absorb mostly from the water column and the substrate remains nutritious, macros + micros can be enough.

how to use

buries 1 Tab for each approximate area of 10 × 10 cm, close to the roots and at least 3 cm deep.

replacement reference: every 6–8 weeks, adjusting to plant density and plant response.
