🧪 NitroBlock – Advanced Nitrate Removing Resin (Regenerable)

Technical and Commercial Description
NitroBlock is a high-performance filter media developed to effectively absorb nitrates present in aquarium water, contributing to biological balance, algae control, and the long-term health of aquatic inhabitants. Its selective ion exchange technology allows for progressive and effective removal of nitrates, even at low levels, making it ideal for planted aquariums, community aquariums, or aquariums with fish sensitive to organic pollution.




🔬 Technical Specifications:

• High ion exchange capacity: minimum 1.0 meq/ml
• Regenerable multiple times, maintaining effectiveness.
• Suitable for freshwater and saltwater.
• Safe for fish, shrimp, and plants.
• It does not affect the pH or hardness of the water.



🌱 Advantages:

• It reduces nitrates passively and continuously.
• Prevents excessive algae growth.
• Extends the intervals between water changes.

🔁 Regeneration Mode (simple and economical):

1. Place the NitroBlock bag in a container with twice the volume of 10–15% saline solution (10–15g of salt/100ml).
2. Leave submerged for 2–3 hours, shaking occasionally.
3. Rinse thoroughly with clean water to remove any salt residue.
4. Ready to reuse!



⚙️ When to Use:

• After measuring nitrates >10 ppm
• Municipal water sources with high nitrate content.
• Water problems caused by excess nitrates.
• In densely populated aquariums
• As a preventative measure in sensitive aquariums.
• When you want to reduce the frequency of TPAs

📦 Packaging :
Available in various sizes. Each 250 ml treats up to 100 L of water for several weeks , depending on the biological load.
